A crime/conspiracy story based on the influential comic by Alan Moore. Watchmen focuses on the every day life of out of work superheroes. Costumed superheroism has been outlawed, and most groups have been abandoned. But as a new threat presents itself, the paranoid masked detective/vigilante Rorschach uncovers a conspiracy to destroy all masked heroes.

The first female US President Sally Sheridan is shot dead by a sniper during her Independence Day speech. Her assassin narrowly escapes the scene with his life, national security hot on his heels - or so it seems. Three months later, an elderly couple discover the body of a wounded man washed up on a beach. The young man (Dorff) cannot remember the slightest thing about his own identity. The only clue is a tattoo on his neck, “XIII”. Meanwhile, in the Whitehouse, government intelligence is still conducting the search for the President’s killer. With the elections just weeks away, a confirmed suspect could swing the vote for the administration. Hours after XIII’s location is picked up by covert intelligence, elite special ops forces are swarming the couple’s house in Cape Fear. Running on adrenaline and instinct, XIII tactically takes out the soldiers one by one. On the run, clinging to one desperate clue after another, XIII begins to piece back his life, fragments of his memory returning. Finally captured, he learns that he has been given a stolen identity and placed undercover to flush out a group of conspirators threatening to overthrow the government. Ensconced within the highest echelons of power the conspirators run their own security agency alongside the Government’s. Both are out to find him. The only way for XIII to get his own life back is to play bait. A dangerous game, especially when you don’t know who you really are.

Traveling to Shanghai Scholar finds the twin sister Sue (Coco Su) has taken over the family fortunes and lifestyle. He finds himself falling for his target. Instead of killing her he chooses to save her from his fellow assassins (Veronica Bero Joey Covington Vasilios Elovalis) by taking them out one-by-one. Torn between his commitment to his paying client and his romantic feelings for her sister Scholar enters into a dangerous liaison with both unable to trust either one and unable to let them go…

Primarily a two hour video, albeit a very good one, this sequel picks up 18 years later from the original and finds Elwood Blues being released from prison and trying to re-form his old band with new lead singer Mighty Mac replacing Jake. A road trip culminates with a battle of the bands against the Louisiana Gators led by B.B. King, Eric Clapton, Dr. John, and others.

After the release of Jake Blues from prison, he and brother Elwood go to visit the old home where they were raised by nuns. They learn the church stopped its support and will sell the place to the education authority, and the only way to keep the place open is if the $5000 tax on the property is paid within 11 days. The brothers want to help and decide to put their blues band back together and raise the the money by staging a big gig. As they set off on their “mission from god” they seem to make more enemies along the way. Will they manage to come up with the money in time?

By answering a seemingly impossible riddle, Perseus, the son of Zeus, wins the hand of the Princess Andromeda in marriage. Trouble appears in the shape of Calibos, the princess’s former love, and his mother, the Goddess Thetis. In order that the dreaded Kraken not be released, Andromeda has to be sacrificed and Perseus searches for the Medusa; her head is the only thing that can stop the Kraken.

A decade earlier the city was dubbed the “Murder Capital of the Country.” Drugs and violence controlled the streets, taking a toll on the city’s law enforcement, neighborhoods and its people. Illustrating this dark chapter in the city’s history is “Death Toll”.

The film follows three tracks: Banks’s slow recruitment of Bennie, the set-up for the hit at a swank resort in Mexico, and the FBI’s close pursuit of Banks, whom they want alive in hopes he’ll rat out his bosses. Bennie may not be who she seems, and there may be a chink in Banks’s tough-guy armor. Guns, money, and a chance at Paradise…
